Rolex Unveils A Unique Take On The Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller

Rolex‘s bold Yacht-Master 40 isn’t the only brand new timepiece it’s unveiling today. Offering up a decidedly more subtle, classic aesthetic is the watchmaker’s latest rendition of the Sea-Dweller.

Ref. 126600 makes a bevy of changes to the 1967 original, including a 43mm steel case – thus making it the largest Sea-Dweller of all time. The watch also sports a platinum-coated uni-directional black Cerachrom bezel and blue luminescent hour markers and hands while a newly added Cyclops provides magnification for the date window. Finally, the use of Rolex’s calibre 3235 provides automatic movement and a 70-hour power reserve.

Waterproof up to 4,000 feet and finished with a 904L steel bracelet, this clean take on the Sea-Dweller is due to be available from authorized Rolex stockists sometime later this year.
