The follow up to Pucci’s now iconic Ultimate Daytona book, Day-Date: The Presidential Rolex explores what could easily be described as the most iconic, most imitated, and most nuanced watch in history – the Rolex Day-Date.
Taking production cues from the larger and far more expensive Daytona book from the same publisher, we see extremely detailed historical looks at Rolex’ most famous watch, illustrated by beautifully deep, and detail rich images. The book features a look at the most collectible and rare models, in addition to the earliest Day-Dates from the 1950s. The author further explores the importance of the Day-Date via personal interviews with some of the watch world’s most important tastemakers including Phillips Watch chief Aurel Bacs, mega-dealer Eric Ku, scholar and collector John Goldberger, and HODINKEE’s own Benjamin Clymer.
