Blaken Panerai Verarena

Not just for desert foxes.

In the Blaken Verarena, Italian military history and German precision come together in a masculine watch with exceptional details. The name Verarena reflects these historical associations. It is made up of the Spanish terms ver (to see) and arena (sand) and evokes a sense of the desert and typical military camouflage colours.

The design also harks back to the first watch that Panerai created for the Italian navy. The masculine, matt housing in anthracite and the robust, olive green textile strap, which is highly prized in military circles, gives the Blaken Verarena the appearance of a camouflage watch, and embeds it in the long history of military timepieces. The red accents on the dial and the illuminated hands are equally easy to see in sunlight and absolute darkness. The Blaken Verarena is fitted with the Calibre OP III and its sapphire crystal base reveals its precious inner workings. The small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock provides a visual accent. Hour markings with Arabic numerals are shown in the 3, 6 and 12 o’clock positions.

The patented Blaken DLC coating refines the look and protects the surface from scratches, knocks and other external factors. With only 10 copies worldwide, this exceptional timekeeper is a highly desirable rarity.
